Made it home again, this time sans gallbladder. A little worse for wear, but definitely on the mend. Cholecystectomy is hands down the most unusual Christmas gift I've ever received - or did I give it since I left my gallbladder and stones with them? Either way, I'm glad to be rid of it.  Just trying to take it easy and heal up. Not how I'd envisioned starting the New Year, but there are worse things.

Well, you got the gift of perspective, being on the patient's side of the fence and all. ;-) I hope you mend quickly. Be sure not to over do in a rush to be fully functional again.

You take it easy...don't do anything to exacerbate your recovery!!

Okay...so how on earth can $1k be justified for an ambulance ride???? Where did they take you? New York??? Timbuktu???
